Mark Greenberg practiced law in the global finance group of one of the nation’s largest law firms for over 26 years. While there, he represented international banks, insurance companies and finance companies in connection with a wide variety of transactions, leading teams in developing, structuring and negotiating strategic joint ventures and complex financial transactions, including debt facilities and the financing of unusual and esoteric assets.
At the end of 2017, Mark retired from the practice of law to devote his time to volunteering for non-profit organizations, playing games, running half marathons, thinking a lot, and writing a little. He decided to start this blog in response to his observation that far too many Americans fail to think critically or treat with due skepticism information they find on social media — particularly information that confirms their pre-existing biases. Whether this is more than just a shout into the darkness remains to be seen.
In the meantime, Mark is still trying to decide what he wants to do when he grows up.
